2010 IBDP Results - Tuesday, August 31, 2010

Dulwich College Shanghai (DCS) has produced another good set of IBDP results for the class of 2010, with an average 34 points and 98% pass rate. These results place us above the world average score of 29.5.

The Class of 2010 comprised 52 students in total, eight of whom scored over 40 points or higher with a top score of 44 points. Two students scored 43, one student scored 42, two students scored 41 and two student scored 40.

The student who scored 44 points also secured a four-year scholarship to Cambridge University in the UK.

Two of our top IB scorers from 2010 achieved top marks in China, and globally, for their IGCSE results in 2008.  This underlines the high quality of both the IGCSE and IBDP programmes at DCS in preparing our students to become globally-minded and academically successful individuals.

2010 graduates will be going on to study subjects ranging from aeronautical engineering and natural sciences, to fine art, law and medicine.

Praising their accomplishments, Mr. Paul Friend Headmaster at DCS said,

“Based on these results, most of our graduates have won a place at their first choice of university. This year’s cohort have also been offered ten scholarships to top universities in the UK, US, Hong Kong and Canada. We are immensely proud of their achievements and wish them well in their future chosen career paths."
